Hearts On Fire is founded by husband and wife team Glenn and Susan Rothman. Within the same year, the company quickly sells out of its first collection of loose diamonds.
The company goes global, establishing a presence in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Caribbean.
Hearts On Fire launches its first complete collection of diamond jewelry.
After two years and thirty different models, the Dream square-cut diamond is perfected and patented, bringing the signature Hearts On Fire sparkle to a fancy-shaped diamond.
Hearts On Fire designs the $6.5 million Victoria's Secret Hearts Fantasy Bra.
The company establishes itself as a true global luxury brand, with a presence in 32 countries throughout North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
The Architectural Collection is launched, featuring diamond jewelry inspired by famous structures all over the world. The collection is featured in a multi-page editorial in the October 2008 issue of Architectural Digest.
Hearts On Fire creates a 3,300 diamond chandelier worth $10 million for the Architectural Digest Green Room, backstage at the Emmy Awards. The chandelier was created in honor of the Emmy's "diamond" anniversary- it's 60th.
Hearts On Fire launches its first complete diamond ring with the Transcend design. The ring quickly becomes a bestseller, and remains one to this day.
Hearts On Fire hires Ilaria Lanzoni as the first official Director of Design. Ilaria previously spent time at Garrard & Co, and brought her expertise and eye for style with her to HOF.
Hearts On Fire launches retail boutiques in the King of Prussia Mall and the Forum Shops at Caesars in Las Vegas.
The Illa Collections launches, which takes inspiration from starry night skies. This same year, the Copley Collection launches, inspired by Hearts On Fire's Boston hometown.
Hearts On Fire creates a 17-carat diamond crown for Miss Universe Australia. It was designed by Ilaria as an extension of her Illa Collection.
The Aerial Collection launches, inspired by the elements of nature found in the atmosphere—like raindrops, petals, and the sun. This same year, the Lorelei Collection launches too, inspired by lace and by the balance of strength and femininity inherent in every woman.
Hearts On Fire is purchased by Hong Kong-based conglomerate Chow Tai Fook. The company then launches several points of sale in mainland China.
Caryl Capeci is appointed President of Hearts On Fire. Previously the Vice President of Marketing within the company, Caryl brought over 20 years of diamond industry experience to her new role as the head of the company.
The Triplicity Collection launches, a modern and geometric collection inspired by the architecture and energy of New York City.
Hearts On Fire launches in select Saks 5th Avenue stores across the country.
Ilaria Lanzoni wins the Couture Design Award, an award recognizing impeccable design and craftsmanship at the annual Couture Show in Las Vegas.
HOF launches an exclusive diamond jewelry collection designed by Stephen Webster.
Hearts On Fire launches a new partnership with philanthropic partner Girls Inc.
The Hearts On Fire & Girls Inc. Collection launches. Designed in collaboration with four students from the local Girls Inc. chapter in Lynn, MA, this collection empowers girls to dream big and bold. A percentage of the proceeds from this collaboration was donated back to Girls Inc.
Hearts On Fire’s perfectly cut diamonds get an imaginative new look in diamond engagement rings and endlessly stackable bands inspired by designer Hayley Paige’s whimsical, ethereal wedding dresses, as well as by her magnetic energy, contagious love of life, and relentless pursuit of her dreams.
